How much does recording cost?
A 3-hour vocal recording session is ₩250,000, however many songs you record. Hourly rental is ₩100,000 (2-hour minimum). Day Lock is ₩350,000 for 4 hours or ₩650,000 for 8 hours. All prices include VAT.
Can I rent just the room without an engineer?
Every session at Studio NOL includes a dedicated engineer — vocal directing, mic setup and real-time monitoring — so even first-time recordists get a great result.
Where are you, and how do I book?
A 5-minute walk from Yeonsinnae Station (Daejo-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul). We work by appointment only — message our KakaoTalk open chat with your date and number of songs and we'll confirm after a short chat.
Do I have to arrange distribution and release on my own after recording?
No. Planning, recording, mixing and mastering continue into distribution on Melon, Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music, and into release promotion — a written press kit pitched to Korean music outlets as well as international media, radio and playlist curators. You can book recording alone, or go all the way to release with us.

The 3-hour vocal package is ₩250,000 (including a dedicated engineer, directing and basic editing), and within those 3 hours the price is the same however many songs you record. If you only need it by the hour, that's ₩100,000/hour (2-hour minimum); for longer album work Day Lock is ₩350,000 for 4 hours or ₩650,000 for 8 hours. All prices include VAT.

No — vocal recording is sold as a 3-hour block for ₩250,000. Record two or three songs in that time and the price stays the same, and it stays the same if you finish early. One song usually fits comfortably in 3 hours. Beyond 3 hours, ₩100,000 per hour is added; for many songs over a long day, Day Lock (4 or 8 hours) costs less.

Yes. A dedicated engineer handles everything from mic setup to vocal directing and take selection, so you get a polished result even on your first session — just focus on your voice.

Bring your backing track or instrumental. If you have none, we make a custom backing track for an existing song for ₩200,000, or arrange your original from ₩500,000 per song (see the composition & arrangement page). The person who arranges also directs the recording, so the intent carries through.

Yes. Continuing into mixing (from ₩200,000) and mastering (from ₩100,000) at the same studio keeps the tone consistent and communication simple.

Hourly rental starts at a 2-hour minimum. We work by appointment only. Cancel up to 3 days before your session for a full refund; 1–2 days before, 50% is refunded; same-day cancellations are not refunded. If your schedule changes, let us know via KakaoTalk in advance.

We are at 3F, 2-1 Tongil-ro 71-gil, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (Daejo-dong), a 5-minute walk from Yeonsinnae Station. The building has no parking. If you drive, use the KT Eunpyeong parking lot on the same street (16 Tongil-ro 71-gil, about 2 minutes on foot, paid), or the public lot at Yeonsin Middle School Underground Public Parking (16-32 Yeonseo-ro 33-gil, open 24 hours, hourly rates), about 1 km from the studio.

The owner, Hwang Kyungha, runs it himself. The same person handles mic setup, vocal direction, take selection and editing, and the mixing and mastering that follow, so the direction does not change halfway. He planned and produced the album Gentrification, which received the Selection Committee Special Award at the 2017 Korean Music Awards.

Recording, mixing and mastering are done by the owner, Hwang Kyungha, in person. One person handles your project from the first consultation through vocal direction, mix and master delivery, and revisions.

He planned and produced the album Gentrification (젠트리피케이션), which received the Selection Committee Special Award at the 2017 Korean Music Awards.
