'Fish Die Without Water' is a children's music project where sound design tailored to children's listening characteristics was the core. The album title expresses the obvious truth 'fish die without water' in children's language — an educational music album promoting the value of nature.

During recording, children's natural vocal expressions (stuttering, laughter, improvised sounds) were respected as much as possible. Unlike adult vocal recording, children's vocals were recorded in short sessions (under 30 minutes each), with special techniques used to encourage recording like a game.

During mixing, considering children's frequency sensitivity, it was important not to overemphasize high-frequency ranges (above 8kHz) while maintaining clear intelligibility. Mastering adjusted dynamic range to meet Korean streaming platforms' children's content standards, while maintaining the balance between musical fun and educational messaging.
