Namutipdeul's 'Heart Before My Eyes' is an indie folk single that preserves the band's early texture well. As the title suggests — a feeling that's close at hand, an emotion easily missed in daily life — the whole arrangement was designed to stack only what's needed over a quiet acoustic base.

Recording layered acoustic guitar, vocals, then light rhythm in sequence. The guitar was first captured with a two-microphone stereo arrangement to establish space, then the vocal was recorded with a Neumann-family condenser to preserve mid-range warmth while high-passing out low-frequency bloat. Chorus harmonies were built from multiple varied takes so two or more voices would stack thinly like overlapping leaves.

In mixing, we chose not to erase small details like guitar string friction and vocal breath — these sounds must stay alive for the track's density to feel right. Reverb was primarily set on small rooms, while a wide hall entered and faded only briefly in the chorus via automation.

The finished track suits walking outdoors with earphones or playing in the background through a small living-room speaker. A single aimed at settling in comfortably without excessive processing.
