Lee Seo-young's 'Woori' is a folk-pop single that unfolds the lyrical narrative slowly over a stripped-back acoustic arrangement. We designed the space left by removing ornate decoration to center the artist's voice and breath, and intentionally kept a long breathing rhythm so each line of lyric would land properly.

Vocal recording used Neumann U87Ai as the base to secure mid-range richness, stacking multiple takes that separated the spoken-word low register from the reaching melodic choruses. The direction was 'the courage to let go of strength' — we asked for a natural vocal close to her speaking intonation rather than hitting notes precisely, and were careful in editing not to let enunciation become overly sharp.

Acoustic guitar was captured with two-microphone stereo miking to secure spatial depth, and in mixing we gently scooped around 1kHz so the vocal could sit clearly center, while tidying the low-frequency resonance. Reverb blended a short room with a natural plate to create a space that isn't exaggerated.

The track sits best in quiet environments like a commute inside the car or a studio monitor setup. A single aimed at delivering the temperature of the lyrics directly to the listener.
