자이 <Golden Hour>

Jai's 'Golden Hour' is a ballad pop track that musicalizes the warm light of sunset. The key was delivering maximum vocal emotion while leaving a lingering impression with a minimal instrumental arrangement. During recording, we used a Neumann U87 microphone combined with a Classé preamplifier to extract a sound true to Jai's unique vocal tone (especially the warmth of the mid-low range).

In mixing, the priority was balancing vocal detail with spatial depth. Light Plate Reverb and Delay were applied to vocals to create a natural sense of space, without compromising lyric readability. Acoustic guitar and piano were placed centrally (not widened in stereo) to keep the vocal at the center of the mix.

For promotion, Soundcloud was selected as the primary platform to enhance accessibility as an indie artist, with Spotify and Apple Music distribution also handled per client request. This track became an important work defining Jai's signature sound for the second album 'Pink Padding Girl'.
