삼각전파사 <Dystopia 2025>

Samgeuk Jeonpasa's 'Dystopia 2025' is a conceptual album exploring facets of future society through music. Produced through Tumblbug crowdfunding, this is a meaningful work completed with fan participation. The album's sound combines analog synthesizers with digital processing — a hybrid approach blending 80s cinematic sound with modern electronic elements.

Recording captured analog synthesizers (Prophet-6, Moog Sub 37) as the primary sound source, then reprocessed them in a digital workstation. Vocals were treated minimally to emphasize the dystopian atmosphere, while drums crossed live drum recordings with sequenced electronic drums.

During mixing, the frequency spectrum was carefully designed so that warm analog synth frequency ranges coexisted harmoniously with sharp digital electronic highs. Mastering applied different dynamic ranges for the digipak version (for crowdfunding backers) and streaming versions, each optimized for its listening environment.
