Samgakjeonpasa (Triangle Waver) is the solo experimental electronic project of SF novelist Jang Ho-jin, active since 2015. Dystopia 2025, the artist's first full-length album, was released on May 2, 2025 and distributed via FUGA. The record fuses distorted synthesizers and radical electronic textures with the protest tradition of 1980s Korean minjung (people's) music.
Tracks such as "Ttanggeomi Z" (gentrification), "Grima X" (capitalism), and "Mulgyeol" (industrial accidents), alongside a reworking of "House of Rising Sun," address concrete social issues in 2025 Korea. The teaser was directed by Park Chichi, and a release show was held at Space Hangang in Seoul.
